There are many different marketing tips that are offered by insiders but the most important one is to know the customer and know them well. 80% of all business will be done by 20% of the customers so it is important to cater to that 20%. Find out as much about the small group that is loyal to the company or product.

Other marketing tips are related to the competition. It is important to know what the competition is doing with their products and sales and try to be one step ahead. Position the business in relation to the competition and focus on certain aspects such as the lowest prices, the best selection or the highest quality of merchandise. It is impossible to be everything to everyone so focus on the core customers.

AS the business grows good marketing tips are needed to keep it growing. A strategic marketing plan can help asses the long term needs of the customers and be able to provide products based on that. Focus on the specifics and how to best achieve them and work up from there.
